🐴 Waco – 11-Year-Old Gelding 🐴
Waco is the kind of horse that loves having a job and is always ready to go to work. I've used him extensively on the ranch gathering cattle, often with UTVs flying around and plenty of commotion, and nothing seems to bother him. He stays focused and gets the job done every time.
He has been roped off of and has proven himself to be a dependable, versatile horse. Waco has been our family's go-to horse for years. When my daughter was just 7 years old, she rode him to Reserve All-Around Champion at the Wabaunsee County 4-H Show. After her events, I'd turn around and run him in the open barrels where we've placed in the 1D.
Waco also knows the pole pattern and has done well in the few pole classes we've entered. On the barrels, he's more of a push-style horse than a free runner. If you use your legs, set him up correctly, and stay off his face, he'll do his job and turn every time.
